How to Open VCE Files
To open and use VCE files, you need to have VCE Exam Simulator software, preferably the latest version (best in terms of its stability and functionality). This software can be exclusively downloaded from www.avanset.com. Visit the website and click the orange button on the homepage to proceed.
Choose your package. If you only plan to view VCE files created by other users, then all you need is the BASIC package. If you plan to edit VCE files, or create your own exams, then you should opt for the PRO version:
Proceed to choose the duration of your subscription: With VCE Simulator, you pay for the length of your subscription and not the download. Once your subscription is over, you won't be able to use the software until you renew it. Longer subscriptions come with significantly lower monthly rates, with 12-Month subscription currently being the smartest option.
Follow the instructions to complete your subscription and payment. Once done, you will be able to start using your software, which will be installed on your hard drive. You will get the red icon for VCE Player, and a green one for VCE Designer.
Now you're ready to open your VCE files.
How to Open VCE Files in VCE Player:
Start by opening VCE Player
Add VCE file to your VCE Player list by clicking the Add button. You can add a few exams, then select the exam you would like to open, and click Start.
As your next step, you will be asked to set / adjust your training session requirements, like the sections you want to focus on, time, etc:
Next, VCE Player will open your exam. Depending on the exam specifics, subjects, question types etc, questions may look rather different, and follow different logic. Now all you have to do is concentrate on your exam and on your learning.
How to open VCE files in VCE Designer
Open VCE Designer:
Click File->Open - to open your VCE Exam. In the same menu, you will be able to print out your VCE file.
Since VCE Designer lets you edit VCE files, you can do it by simply clicking on a question. There are 2 tabs in the bottom part of the page: Question and Answer (where you can edit them) and Preview. Preview is especially valuable if you use images in your VCE file.
